    Poem: This Need

Like all the blood rushing like a stream this need it runs deep Starving for it always Even when I just ate Stomach growls like thunder as my pillars of sanity crumble I can’t say no I don’t want to say no It tells me that I’m free despite the chains around my wrists and feet It says if I want to I can leave And these words I believe I believe The Devil on my shoulder The shadow in the dark The chill when it gets colder The break of a heart This need comes calling like a howling through the trees or a siren that can empty a…

    Poem: The Fall

The comedown after the high The fall from soaring heights The crash that makes me think I’m about to die The tulip that bloomed only to wither The reminder that I’m not what I drew in the picture The reason why I never wish to remember The silence of the music and the fiddler A fallback to me before yesterday before I knew sun and lived in shade This is the me where I have to fake Draw on the mask Yes, I’m okay Nothing lasts forever. San Francisco to Eureka! 🚙 🎒 ⛰

After a long night of being elbowed by my little brother on our itty bitty bed, we all got up, got coffee, donuts, then hit the road. For anyone who has an opportunity to stay at a Parc 55 Hilton—take it! It’s a great, contemporary, very enjoyable place to stay. And for anyone who has an opportunity to visit San Francisco—TAKE IT! If you like the raw downtown feel, bustling sidewalks and old buildings drenched with character, you’ll love it. The place was so alive, thriving, and I didn’t want to leave. We crossed the Golden Gate Bride (a tremendous sight), then passed through wine country (endless acres of fields,…

Laguna Beach to San Francisco! 🚗 🎒

Since I started blogging a year ago, I’ve also wanted to start a travel blog. Sadly, I’m 24, have a full-time job, and am also borderline broke. So… I don’t think a travel blog is coming anytime soon. However!!!! I do still get to take occasional vacations, and for this summer’s trip, I’ve headed west to the beautiful lands of California. Ladies and gentlemen, buckle up… You’re about to read my very first travel blog post. Two days ago, I got a ride to the DFW airport via a cute girl from Lyft, and I then boarded flight aa2613 to John Wayne (Gacy) airport in Orange County. Surprisingly enough, I…

    Poem: I am VDK

A little poem written from the perspective of my mystery novel’s main villain, the Valentine’s Day Killer. I’m a monster A killer The worst villain in every thriller The night’s breath An empty grave A cold wind A guilty crave An alien An eater of worlds A black hole A shattered pearl A shadow wrapped in the wrath of madness The bloodied thorns of a rose The crack in a halo A fallen angel The unspoken The wretched and the lonely I am anger I am hate I am love I am VDK -The Valentine’s Day Killer

    Poem: Till I Forget Love

So I’ll get fucked up till I forget love till I forget us and what was What could’ve been It’s just too much Driving down this road is just too rough and it’s leaving me a bit cut up a bit numb, coz when I went to touch I found your heart to be ice cold Now all of us all that I know has been turned to dust as a black wind blows You took the hourglass of my life You broke it, and wasted my time Thanks for reading! -Jordan Antonacci Twitter: @misterhushhush
